Ann Hanley is a Fellow and an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Accredited Musculoskeletal Specialist with the Australian Association of Exercise and Sports Science. Visit www.aaess.com.au for further information about exercise physiologists. Ann has extensive experience in coordinating and implementing workplace health, fitness and wellness programs. As a practitioner, Ann clinically specialises in musculo-skeletal rehabilitation, health appraisals, weight management, pilates and exercise prescription. Ann has over 15 years of experience in providing exercise programming and promoting the benefits of healthy lifestyle changes. In her role as Wellness Manager she continues to share her enthusiasm, skill and knowledge of healthy behaviour change modifications with QUT staff to enhance the wellness evolution.

Ann is a keen athlete and actively participates and competes in a range of activities.  Her professional passion assists the Wellness Matters Program in developing the Wellness Culture of QUT. She strongly advocates a positive work-life balance is achievable as she demonstrates to herself and others when working, parenting, partnering and renovating.

Emma is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with The Australian Association for Exercise and Sports Science having completed a Master of Applied Science (Clinical Exercise Science) at The University of Queensland and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement Studies) at QUT.

Emma has worked in a variety of settings including cardiac and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, corporate health and weight management. Before coming to QUT Emma worked as an Exercise Physiologist for the Wesley Weight Management Clinic, a division of Wesley Corporate Health providing individualised exercise prescription to assist clients meet their specific weight loss goals. Areas of particular interest to Emma include fitness, health and wellness, health promotion, corporate/workplace health and exercise prescription and rehabilitation for special populations including people with chronic disease.

Emma has enjoyed a wide variety of activities over the years and has been involved in representative Volleyball, Swimming and Athletics. Currently she enjoys the gym, cycling and swimming. In her role as Wellness Coordinator, Emma looks forward to working with QUT staff to assist them achieve a high level of personal wellness through healthy lifestyle changes and behaviour modification. Applying her knowledge and skills, Emma aims to work closely with her fellow colleagues to develop a Wellness culture at QUT.
